Do I have to be over 50 to access the foot care and associated services?
No, it doesn’t matter how old you are; if you need help to cut your nails, we are here for you.
Do I need to live near to a clinic to access the foot care and other services?
No, as long as you can travel to our clinics, we will be able to treat you.
Do I need to be referred to the foot care clinic from my GP?
No. Anyone can access the service. Just ring our main office on 01554 744896 to make an appointment for an assessment on your feet to ensure you are suitable to receive our service. (This is free of charge)
Can I just turn up to have my nails cut?
No an appointment will need to be made for both your initial assessment and nail cutting sessions thereafter. Please ring the main office on 01554 744896 for an available appointment.
How often will I need to have my toenails cut?
Usually, people need their toenails cut every 5 to 6 weeks. However, some people’s nails grow more or less quickly. We will be able to advise you once you have had your first few treatments. You will usually be able to change your appointment if you feel your nails are not yet ready to cut since the last session or if you feel you need them to be cut sooner.
Do you remove corns and hard skin?
Unfortunately, our service is just a straightforward nail cutting service. You will need to visit a private full podiatry service or access NHS treatment to have these types of treatments.
Treatments and Therapies
